A camel and a Berber tent in the little Sahara

Day trips out of Agadir into the Souss, the Anti-Atlas and the little Sahara. Rough roads, decent lunch, a guide who has done it 400 times and still points at things.

Tomorrow morning you could be the only car at the top of the pass, drinking tea someone's grandmother made.

The people driving

Slightly mad. Entirely reliable.

Four guides, all local, all licensed by the Ministry of Tourism. Between them they speak Tachelhit, Arabic, French, English, German and enough Dutch to be dangerous. They carry a first-aid kit, two spare tyres, and a satellite phone they have used twice — both times for someone else’s car.

"If the weather turns, or the road is closed, or the dunes are wrong — I will find you somewhere better and it costs you nothing. That is the whole promise."

An amazing and genuinely fun experience. We were shown the real Agadir, not just the tourist spots, and learned so much along the way. Everything was very informative, engaging, and full of humour, which made the whole day even better. The guide was kind, generous, and completely genuine. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to understand the city properly and enjoy every moment of it.

The safari tour was excellently organized and an unforgettable experience. Our guide was very professional, friendly, funny and knew the country and culture well. A special highlight was the traditional Berber dinner, which was authentic, lovingly prepared and incredibly delicious. We felt well looked after at all times and can absolutely recommend this tour. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Our half day tour of Agadir with Mohamed was very entertaining and fun. He took us to the Kasbah where amazing panoramic views of the city and the Atlas mountains were to be seen. Then unscheduled stops to a local patisserie and a recommended restaurant Aigle Fish, where we visited in the evening for some fantastic fresh fish. Thank you Mohamed for your insights into Agadir.

Thanks to our driver, we had a very educational experience learning about the old customs and traditions in Morocco. This place is definitely worth visiting. A big thank you again to Mohamed, who also dropped us off at a wonderful restaurant. Afterwards, we visited the largest covered market (Souk El Had) in the country, which was another great experience.
